Laélo is a vegan café/pâtisserie/restaurant in Paris’ vegan quarter (ironically in the Poissonnière area in the 9éme… ironic? the name literally means fishmonger, so to have so many vegan places there?)
anyhoo, breakfast was required, and so off we went…
it’s a tiny wee space
as you can see
but that didn’t stop it from having an amazing range of nibbles, meals, cakes & pâtisserie! first up is the jambon et fauxmage croissant… which was all kinds of aces!
I had the noisette macchiato, which has actual noisette cake crumbled on top
and mrs c. went for a cardamom chai
it’s ace there… you should go!!
